Laser engraved on a 4" × 4" piece of natural slate, the plaque features a devotional image of the Blessed Virgin Mary together with the full traditional Hail Mary prayer. The dark natural slate creates a striking contrast with the engraving, while its textured surface and naturally irregular edges give each plaque its own character.

The slate is displayed in a handcrafted black walnut base that is routed, carefully sanded, and finished to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. Recessed into the base is a 100% beeswax tea light candle, adding a warm glow that makes the piece especially suited for a prayer corner, bedside table, desk, shelf, or other devotional space.

The Hail Mary

The Hail Mary is deeply rooted in Scripture and Catholic tradition. Its opening draws from the angel Gabriel’s greeting to Mary at the Annunciation and Elizabeth’s greeting to Mary at the Visitation. The second part turns to Mary as the Mother of God and asks for her intercession throughout our lives and at the hour of death.
